The Dublin South Arch Club provides weekly social activities for children, teenagers and young adults with special needs in a safe environment. The Arch Club is a registered charity and is run by parents on a voluntary basis.
The club is funded by a combination of individual subscription fees, money raised through fund raising activities organised by the Steering Committee, and generous donations from sponsors and donors.
ANNUAL QUIZ NIGHTS
Our Annual Quiz Nights are the social event of the year where we raise funds for the Arch Club.
There were no Quiz Nights in 2020 or 2021 due to Covid. Our next Quiz Night will be on Saturday, 14th May in Glenalbyn Sports & Social Club where we hope to raise funds and have some well deserved and over due fun.
Our last fund-raising Annual Quiz Night took place on Friday 5 April 2019 in Glenalbyn.
The event was very well attended by the families and friends of our members. Over 200 guests paid €40 per table of 4 and bought raffle tickets for a large range of spot prizes donated by friends of the Dublin South Arch Club. A great night was had by all. And we raised over €3,200! See this web page for details.
PORTMARNOCK GOLF CLUB DONATION 2018
During the summer Portmarnock Golf Club ran their traditional Captain’s charity fundraiser. The club was one of three charities that benefited from the generosity of the club’s members. We received a donation of €22,110. They did this to take pressure off the club regarding fundraising as we are almost totally dependent on what we can raise voluntarily.
